Frelinghuysen to Deliver Massive Pelosi Health Care Bill to Library

WASHINGTON – Congressmen Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11) will share Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s massive health care overhaul with his constituents this weekend.  After weeks of closed doors meetings inside the Capitol, Speaker Pelosi unveiled the massive 1,990 health care overhaul on the steps outside the U.S. Capitol yesterday, with a vote on final passage expected next week.

“The American people need to be able to read this legislative monstrosity,” said Frelinghuysen.  “And when they do they will learn that, like Speaker Pelosi’s previous bill, H.R. 3962 will raise the cost of Americans’ health insurance premiums; it will kill jobs with tax hikes and new mandates; and it will cut seniors’ Medicare benefits and reimbursements to our area hospitals.  Further, it contains absolutely no junk medical lawsuit reform!”

Frelinghuysen will deliver the 1,990 page health care bill to the Morris County Library at 30 Hanover Avenue in Whippany.
